Ramesh Taurani, the producer of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani knows the pulse of his audience; and says that todays audience is exposed to Hollywood films and is keen to borrow a similar sheen for the local fare. Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, may not have the most amazing choreographed moves but according to Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor has definitely made easy steps look stylish. Even though Katrina Kaif danced to one song in the film, she gets five-on-five. The song where she had to look attractive, she succeeded. Ranbir finds Katrina to be a fine dancer and knows that she has worked her way to it. But what does the audience think?

Specifics are irrelevant because Santoshi is not aiming for realism here. This is a cheerfully artificial world, in which Prem, played by Ranbir, lives with his parents. Comedy has always been his main forte as his Andaz Apna Apna has achieved cult status in last 15 years. Here he has balanced both romance and comedy very well.
